The open kitchen boasts an enormous island to seat six stools, a separate beverage center for the kids (or adults).  A family flex room with soaring cathedral ceilings tucked just off the nook allows close access for a space that can adapt as needs change - playroom, study, den, music room... 
When it's time to escape, the owner's suite offers an enormous luxury shower experience and beautiful views of mature trees.  Generous walk-in closets in every room, built-ins, cabinetry to the 10' ceilings and storage spots abound throughout for a place for everything.  The modern lower level offers excellent entertainment space, plenty of daylight, with a gorgeous fireplace, beverage center for guests, and the guys will even enjoy a urinal in the water closet of the full bath.  Main level flooring throughout is french oak.  This unique property in an amazing neighborhood was a joy to design and see through from groundbreaking to completion.

New construction in an established neighborhood, we designed this family-friendly Cape Cod to blend with the surroundings.  The functionality of this home included a main level master suite with private patio to the pool, detached pool house bath, screened-in porch with masonry fireplace, a walk-thru butler's pantry, swing door to kitchen, several fireplaces, an entertaining lower level, upstairs and main level laundry centers, play loft and more... with New England charm throughout.

I’ve always dreamed of having a clean, modernist home, and I’m happy to say that Alice and her team at Atelier Cohen led the way to making that dream a reality! I couldn’t be more happy with the project, my house looks like it could be featured in a Kinfolk magazine.
